A step-by-step guide on how to enter Strike A Chord

Can we write or arrange our own music? How old do students need to be to enter? Does our school have to enter our group? And more.

Strike A Chord is introducing a new prize structure in 2027, with Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum certificates in each section, alongside a range of cash prizes.

Each year, we hand-pick a panel of Australia’s leading chamber musicians to judge our Foundation, Showcase and Championship sections.
