2027 Season Update: The Esmé Quartet, originally advertised as part of our 2027 Season, has withdrawn from its tour of Australia. In their place, we're thrilled to announce the debut national tour of Quatuor Van Kuijk, the multi-award-winning French quartet.

Planets do align, if infrequently, so here we introduce one of my favourite ensembles in the world, the Quatuor Van Kuijk: four musicians mentored by the Quatuor Ysaÿe and now, in many ways, its rightful heir. This is playing of astonishing imagination and beauty. – Paul Kildea
